When I was younger I went through a major muffin kick. I baked them so often that I no longer needed a recipe. I knew exactly what I needed to add, how much, and how to get the perfect consistency. To this day muffins are one of my favorite baked goods. They are so warm, comforting, and delicious no matter what time of day whether you are having them for breakfast, a snack, or even dessert.

These banana bread muffins are so easy and only take 30 minutes between prep and baking time!
With this simple muffin base you can add in whatever extra ingredients that you would like such as chocolate chips, nuts, or dried fruits.
These muffins freeze beautifully so you can wrap them up and pull them from the freezer as needed!
My favorite way to warm up muffins is to cut them in half and place the open side down on a warm skillet sprayed with your choice of oil or butter. Just wait for the middle of the muffin to get a little golden brown. So yummy!
